#pantone #shabbypaints #fall #winter #trending #colors #chalkpaintEvery year Pantone picks its color of the year which makes a big splash, but did you know Pantone also makes lists of the seasonally trending colors? I sort of didn’t know until this week, so don’t feel too bad if you didn’t either. But you guys, here’s the thing. When I DID find the list, I was totally blown away. Let me tell you why.

First of all, I present to you the Fall/Winter 2018 Top 10 Color Palette by Pantone. The first time I saw this I ooh-ed and ahhh-ed over the rich jewel tones and neutral accompaniments along with a few bright pops of color too. I mean, there’s really something here for everyone. I felt my brain start to churn with ways I could start incorporating these colors into my projects and the projects you all are making!#pantone #fall #winter #colors #trending

But as I looked at it a bit more, I noticed something else…

Do these colors resemble anything to you? Maybe… chalk paint colors? If so, then you are totally seeing what I am seeing. 12 out of these 15 shades have a nearly exact match in Shabby Paints! I even made an infographic just so you could see exactly how we compare. The HEX codes I used are from Pantone itself and the Shabby Paints swatches are provided by the company.#pantone #shabbypaints #fall #winter #trending #colors #chalkpaint

So what does this mean to you?

First of all, it means Shabby Paints are super on trend. But second and most important, it means that you can easily bring these colors into your home. And when I say easily, I mean without sanding, without priming, and without buffing. To see the full range of Shabby Paints, you can always visit Reclaimed By You’s shop.
